Great staff, great music, great prices. People are going to the cats meow and nerdbar (which are great in their own rights) but are missing the real gem hidden here. live piano music which isn't crowded is so hard to find near Fremont.
We usually spend most of our time on the Strip when visiting Las Vegas, but on our last night this trip we decided to check out Fremont and we’re so glad we did. We stumbled across Don’t Tell Mama, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. This isn’t your typical karaoke bar. It’s a true live music venue run by genuinely talented, seasoned musicians and singers who run the show, with the occasional opportunity for the crowd to participate. The result is a refined, high-energy vibe that feels more like attending a great live performance than enduring the awkward, off key karaoke scene you find elsewhere. A special shoutout to Nate Love, his awesome powerful voice absolutely filled the room. Performance after performance, he delivered with confidence, control, and real artistry. We were completely blown away by his talent. Don’t Tell Mama is now firmly on our must visit list whenever we’re in Vegas again. If you’re looking for great music, real performers, and an elevated nightlife experience off the Strip, this place is a gem.
I stopped in on a Friday evening and had a great time. The piano player was fantastic and the singing bartenders, waiter and audience made for a super fun evening. Definitely going back next time I'm in Vegas
I came to Las Vegas for the “When We Were Young” concert and ended up having one of the most unforgettable nights of my life — completely by surprise — at Don’t Tell Mama. We were walking near Fremont Street and actually heard this incredible voice all the way from Denny’s. We literally followed the sound to find out where it was coming from — and that’s how we met Nate. I’ve been to countless concerts and seen artists I grew up listening to, but I have never heard a voice like his. His vocals were unreal — so much emotion, soul, and passion in every single note. It honestly hit me harder than anything I heard at the entire festival. On top of being insanely talented, Nate was so genuine and professional. He took the time to talk with us, explained how everything worked at the bar, made us feel so welcome, and even helped us pick drinks. He made me the best espresso martini I’ve ever had (I think it had Baileys in it — whatever it was, it was perfect). The pianist and other bartenders were also amazing singers — every single person in that place had serious talent. It felt like a full-on show happening right in front of us, but in the most relaxed, intimate setting. Don’t Tell Mama is the biggest hidden gem in all of Las Vegas. The energy, the vibe, the people, and the music — it’s like nowhere else on Fremont. If you want to experience real talent, powerhouse vocals, and affordable cocktails in a fun, welcoming atmosphere, this is the spot. I can’t wait to come back to Vegas to go back to Don’t Tell Mama and see Nate perform. I know he’s going to do big things — he is beyond talented. I give this place five stars because it deserves every single one.
Loved this bar! My husband and I came for a fun and nice atmosphere. When one of the bartenders dung Love Song I loved it so much I almost jumped up out my seat. Will be back.
Tell Mama that this piano bar is awesome! I had a great time listening to the live pianist, and singing along. Honestly, I didn't expect to sing on Fremont, after going to one open mic bar that was not taking anyone else, and another that told me it would take two hours to get to me. Andrew on the keys and vocals, CJ and Britney on the vocals and the bar, were all so welcoming. I was able to sing two songs and had an awesome time. Tell everyone cool about this place, even your mama. Cherish this gem! Cheers, TAI (Adele and George Michael) 19 Sep 25
Great bar experience with amazing staff and piano karaoke. Sang man or muppet at 1am, so you know this bar knows ball. Bartenders Chris and Bee were super fun to talk to and easy going. Not to mention they could sing for real.
